National Health Center Week is observed during the second week of August every year – and in 2022 takes place from August 7 – 13. This annual celebration of Community Health Centers was founded by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) and applauds the accomplishments of CHC’s within their communities.

Community Health Centers serve over 27 million patients – a number that continues to grow. CHC’s play a prominent role in providing affordable, high quality primary care and public health services to underserved communities across the United States. As part of the country’s health care safety net, the centers use federal grant funding and provide innovative care solutions to the most pressing health care issues in their communities.

CHC’s reach beyond the walls of conventional medicine to address the social determinants of health affecting patient populations. Each year we celebrate the diligent work and high-quality patient care that health centers provide.
