August 9th, 2021
Join us for National Health Center Week (August 8th– August 14th) as we celebrate the mission and success of Community Health Centers. This year’s theme, Community Health Centers – The Chemistry for Strong Communities, highlights the ways that CHCs have served their communities for the past five decades.
This theme is especially poignant this year, as Community Health Centers continue to offer strength, care, and service to their communities through the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This week is also a time of honor and remembrance for the front-line providers, staff, and patients who have lost their lives during the ongoing pandemic. As we do so, we hope to shine a light on the ways that Community Health Centers have dedicated their time to finding innovative ways to provide care to their patients during this crisis.
This week, we will come together to celebrate patients, front-line providers, and staff who have dedicated their lives to serving the underserved. We will be highlighting focus days, sharing resources, and sharing stories of support for community-based health providers.
As we at i2i work towards fulfilling our mission statement of “Serving Others for Healthy Communities,” we are immensely proud to work with CHCs, who embody this mission daily in their work. Community Health Centers have been and continue to be leaders in healthcare, beacons of hope, and trusted resources in their communities. We hope to use this week to highlight the value that CHCs bring to their communities all around the country.
